       Innovative work is defined as “the process of making changes to something established by introducing “something new”. Innovative work helps a teacher to teach lesson easily. The role of innovative work is very important in teaching. In order to teach a lesson innovatively, the teacher must use a lot of pictures, games, models and songs. In teaching learning process the role of innovative work is very important. It makes the class interesting and effective.  The present innovative work is an attempt to recall the concept of "IONIC BOND" This type of lesson plan inspires the learner in many aspect .it is through innovative lesson template people will get a good knowledge of the content and they develop a better retention power.     COGNITIVE MAPPING                    D efinition :  A cognitive map is any visual representation of a person’s (or a group’s) mental model for a given process or  concept. Cognitive maps are the umbrella term for all visual representations of mental models. All mapping techniques described in this article are instances of cognitive maps.  Cognitive maps have no visual rules that they need to obey: there is no restriction on how the concepts and the relationships between them are visually represented. PREPARATION Before preparing a cognitive map we should be familiar with the unit and the concept related to it. We have to prepare a single unit into a map format and thus, every small details of the unit is important. There is main ideas, broad ideas and specific ideas in a cognitive map. Weekly Review : Week 9 DAY 35 : Monday , 07 August 2023  Today I got a class in 9 where I did the remedial teaching of the chapter "forces in fluids".Some extra questions were discussed with the students. They did it very well. DAY 36 : Tuesday , 08 August 2023  Today was our final day of teaching practice in the St.Aloysius school. I had a class in 9 in 3rd period where I gave them notes on the chapter 'Chemical Bonding'. Then I gave them some sweets as it was my last class there. They gave me their feedbacks.   This teaching practice was really a wonderful experience. It will always remain in my memory. Some new learnings and experience that I got from here will always there in me.

Weekly Review : Week 8 DAY 30 : Monday , 31 July 2023  Today in the class the chapter equations of motion was solved. Required derivations were solved, students were interested and showed much enthusiasm in solving questions. DAY 31 : Tuesday , 01 August 2023  Today I had no regular class, i prepared the achievement test to be conducted next week DAY 32 : Wednesday , 02 August 2023  Today is assembly was conducted by the SPC students as it was SPC day. They talk about the origin of SPC and its importance. The second equation of motion and the graphical representation were discussed in the class today.           Then in sixth period students of SPC ,NCC ,scouts ,JRC ,guides etc. called for their practice for the next day's sports. The students along with teachers had a procession from the high school junction to St.Aloysius school by road for the announcement of the school sports day. Weekly Review : Week 7 DAY 25 : Monday , 24 July 2023  Today I reached at 9:10 a.m. Students were introduced the types of covalent bonding and the examples of few compounds were solved during the class.The day went well. DAY 26 : Tuesday , 25 July 2023  As usual the day began with few instructions for the day by Head Master. The Bohr Atomic structure of various compounds and their bond formation was discussed in the class. DAY 27 : Wednesday , 26 July 2023  In today's assembly students talk about Kargil Vijay divas.The chapter was concluded today and the assignment questions for the chapter was provided to the students. Weekly Review : Week 6 DAY 21 : Wednesday , 19 July 2023  Today I reached the school at 9:10 a.m. In assembly headmaster expressed the condolences to Oomman Chandy, the former chief minister of Kerala. Students presented a small life sketch of Oomman Chandy. The continuation topics were discussed in the class.     School conducted a quiz competition based on the Chandrayaan day for students in school auditorium. Two students from each class participated in it. The day went well. DAY 22 : Thursday , 20 July 2023  Today I reached school at 9:10 a.m. In today's assembly also head master talked about Oomman Chandy and deeply saddened by his demise.The questions were discussed and notes were given about the chemical bonding between atoms to the students. Weekly Review : Week 5 DAY 16 : Monday , 10 July 2023  I had class during the afternoon. The chemistry continuation topics and questions were discussed in the class. It was a nice experience.
